Well Easter is right around the corner so I have been preparing my Easter table along with creating some Easter pieces for Nikris Designs.  So this year I decided to do my Easter table using Peacock Blue, Green and Purple.  Although I am not a huge fan of purple, it is the punch I needed to bring the table to life.

I have been working on some Nikris Design serving and flatware sets in purple also.  I should have some for sale on the website soon for anyone wanting to incorporate those colors into their Easter table settings.  You can also contact me if their is a custom set you would like made.

One thing that I did fall in love with that I found at Michael's Arts & Crafts was my green grass table runner.  This was the first time I had seen this in Michael's so was extremely excited!

Now I am really wanting to go over the top and hang a rustic latter above the table with beautiful greenery hanging throughout for a very outdoors garden feel.  I saw a display in Pottery Barn this past weekend while my mother-in-law and I were shopping downtown Charleston and it was FABULOUS!  Of course when I presented my idea to my husband he was not thrilled and I have not been able to get him on board with this project, so it may be a loss cause.

Now here are some pics of what I have done so far with the table.  The one thing that I do not have is purple tea cups and saucers, which I do need to complete my table.  When I lived in England I purchased the one teacup that you see pictured for my mother (and forgot to send to her..hehe).  I love the teacup but I only have one :(.  So now I am of course on a mission for some unique and whimsey purple teacups this week!  So if any of you see any great purple tea cup finds this week, let me know.
